About ProgramarYa and JuanDMeGon
So you want to know a bit more? Well, here I share some details about the evolution of the site and more :)
Presentation
The main project of designing a site focused on teaching programming, which currently corresponds to the site ProgramarYa.com, is an idea that emerged in early 2010. The main purpose of this site is, as its name indicates, to allow all its visitors to acquire the basic skills and knowledge about programming from scratch and quickly, and perhaps deepen them later, both in general and in some specific languages.
ProgramarYa.com is designed, managed, maintained, and updated by Juan David Meza González. An online instructor with thousands of students around the world, Engineer, and Master in Systems and Computing from the National University of Colombia.
At the end of 2014, the need arose to change the name and therefore the brand (branding) of the site to ProgramarYa.com for reasons of visibility and official positioning. Before having this name, the site had, since late 2011, the name and domain Aprender
Evolution of ProgramarYa
ProgramarYA.com is a 100% modularized site, which allows implementing simple or drastic changes to the site with the modification of a small number of files. It is written in PHP for the functional part (backend), and it makes use of different techniques to improve the appearance of the site and the user experience (frontend).
Current Version
The current version of the site seeks to continue working on what was achieved with the fifth version and begins to focus on more articles on advanced topics and exploring content in other languages. It maintains its focus on improving positioning, obtaining better results in search engines and therefore an increase in the number of incoming visits to the site, in addition to proposing a better user interface, a completely renewed and updated frontend, a more friendly and intuitive appearance, greater readability, and better orientation to social networks and mobile devices facilitating the dissemination of content and its visualization from anywhere and at any time, all of the above through the use of more innovative technologies such as Laravel, Alpine.js, Livewire, among others.
